Determining your optimal calling range of an all in

For this example, use the following file: optimalcallingrange.stx.
Make sure that the math engine is turned on (Math engine->mathematical solution).


Let's say you are in a situation where you have to decide with which hands to call an all in.
For instance the one above where SB shoves versus BB with the following range:
 

How do you determine which hands are +EV?


Here's what you do:

First of all, change your calling range to random, so you're calling with all hands.
Now press F7 or to calculate the EV's of all cards.


Hover over the BB's call condition and you will get the following popup:

Now press Alt+D to remove all negatively performing holecards. These hands will now be folded.
You're now calling with all +EV hands and folding the -EV ones, thus reaching an optimal calling range:
